Chinese New Year Feast

Let’s celebrate the Chinese New Year at JAX Cooking Studio this Sunday! Grab your friends and family and ring in the year of the Rabbit. From dumplings and spring rolls to sear cod with lo mein noodles, each recipe will bring you luck in 2023! We’ll finish the class with a sweet slice of mandarin orange cake! Complimentary wine is provided during the cooking experience.

Menu:
Har Gow — Steamed Chinese shrimp dumplings for wealth
Spring Rolls — Veggies wrapped in crispy wrappers gently fried, for “a ton of gold”!
Lo Mein Noodles  —  Noodles to represent happiness and longevity
Ginger Soy Cod — Fish for an increase in prosperity!
Mandarin Orange Cake — Oranges are a good fortune fruit that brings fullness and wealth

Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.
