Come celebrate National Sushi Day and learn how to roll your very own sushi at JAX Cooking Studio! In this fun hands-on class, you will learn to roll sushi on mat, to use tempura batter to fry, and to artfully plate your sushi. With a little practice and our chef’s helpful hints, you will learn how easy it is to make sushi in your own kitchen! Complimentary wine is served during the cooking experience.
*Spicy Tuna Mango Avocado Roll — Simple yet delicious tuna elevated with mango, avocado and sriracha mayo
*Inside Out Smoked Salmon Roll — Smoked salmon with asparagus, cucumber, rice outside
*Rock and Roll — Shrimp tempura, krab, cucumber, cream cheese, with fish egg on top
Tempura Vegetables — Assorted vegetables lightly fried and served with yum yum sauce
Japanese House Salad — Often served at Hibachi restaurants, this ginger dressing will be made by guest
Adults: $75 per person
Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.
Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
