Come enjoy the warmer weather of spring at JAX Cooking Studio! Learn to make some beautiful French macarons with spring flavors and colors. These delicate pastries are as much fun to make as they are delicious to eat, so you are sure to have an enjoyable time in the cooking studio with our pastry chefs! Complimentary wine will be served at this cooking experience.
Neapolitan Macarons–inspired by the iconic ice cream flavor. Chocolate and strawberry macarons filled with vanilla buttercream.
Strawberry White Chocolate Macarons–Strawberry flavored macaron shell filled with strawberry jam and white chocolate buttercream.
Earl Grey Macarons–Early grey macarons shells filled with Earl Grey buttercream icing.
Chef Fillings – our chef will demonstrate these fillings and make enough for the whole class to utilize
Children 12 years or younger with a Registered Adult: $45 (Max of 2 child tickets per registered adult, please). For pastry classes, adults registered with a child will make one recipe together. For non-pastry classes, adults and children will work together to make their meal.
Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.
Family Classes: Children of any age accompanied by an adult may attend Family cooking classes.
Child-Only Classes: Children 7 or older may cook without an adult present in our “Kids” classes.
Adult Classes: Children 16 or older may attend Adult classes with or without an adult. Children 14 or older may attend Adult classes if accompanied by someone 21 or older.
Cooking Station Assignments:
Two or three people who register together will cook the menu items with each other. Our goal is to have guests do as much as possible in the time allotted given the restrictions of appliances and cooktop space. If you purchase a single adult ticket, you will be assigned to work at a station with another person who purchases a single ticket.
Each person (adult and child) will receive enough ingredients to prepare a generous portion of every menu item or one cake per person for cake decorating classes.
Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
