Our pastry chefs will demystify the art of making French macarons. Although these delicate pastries can be finicky to make, our chefs will share tips and techniques to help you successfully create beautiful and tasty macarons. In this class, we will be making some trendy flavored macarons with beautiful spring colors. Bon appétit!
Menu:
Red Velvet Macarons with Tangy Cream Cheese frosting
Strawberry White Chocolate Macarons–Strawberry flavored macaron shell filled with strawberry jam and white chocolate buttercream.
Key Lime Pie Macarons– Filled with Key Lime cream cheese frosting and sprinkled with crushed graham crackers
Chef Fillings – our chef will demonstrate these fillings and make enough for the whole class to utilize
Pricing:
$65: per person
Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.
Cooking Station Assignments:
Two or three people who register together will cook the menu items with each other. Our goal is to have guests do as much as possible in the time allotted given the restrictions of appliances and cooktop space. If you purchase a single adult ticket, you will be assigned to work at a station with another person who purchases a single ticket.
Each person (adult and child) will receive enough ingredients to prepare a generous portion of every menu item or one cake per person for cake decorating classes.
Gratuity:
Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
