Family Cooking: Hip Mexican Cuisine

Explore the deliciousness of contemporary Mexican cuisine in this hands-on cooking class. The chef will teach you to make a skillet-queso that will leave you wanting to scrape up every last bit with tortilla chips! Then we move on to the entree–fish tacos with guacamole, pico de gallo, and cilantro lime slaw. We finish on a sweet note with fried ice cream and guest made whip cream.
Complimentary lemonade will be served.

Menu:
Poblano Skillet Queso — poblano peppers have amazing flavor without a large amount of heat, and they make this skillet queso extra special! Served with tortilla chips.
SoCal Fish Tacos — seared white fish with cilantro lime slaw.
Guacamole and Pico de Gallo — Learn how quick and simple it is to make both guacamole and Pico for your fish tacos!
House Made Cilantro Rice 
House Made Fried Ice Cream — The chef will demo these delicious desserts for you to devour, but guest will learn how easy it is to make whip cream!

Price:
$55 per adult and child over 14.
Bring a child up to age 14 with a Registered Adult for $40. (Max of 2 child tickets per registered adult, please).
Chef’s Kitchen Tickets:
When a class has sold out of regular tickets, we add two tickets in the Chef’s Kitchen up front. The guests cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them. If other guests who purchased tickets for the class are not able to attend at the last minute, the Chef’s Kitchen guests will cook at one of our eight cooking stations, not at the Chef’s Kitchen. The Chef’s Kitchen tickets are offered at a discounted rate in recognition of the flexibility requested of these guests.
