Cake Baking and Decorating Start to Finish

Our pastry chef reveals trade secrets for baking light and airy cakes. This is a fundamentals class, appropriate for anyone interested in baking. You will learn about the best tools professionals use when baking and decorating cakes. You’ll also learn the art of leveling, applying a crumb coat, frosting, and decorating. We will practice piping frosting in different designs, including roses and borders. Each guest will bake a two layer 6″ cake, but during class, you will learn to decorate using pre-made cake layers which have been thoroughly cooled and ready to be frosted. You will take your cake layers home to practice again while the lessons of the class are still fresh in your mind!
$65 per adult and child over 13.
Bring a child up to age 12 with a Registered Adult for $45. (Max of 2 child tickets per registered adult, please).
Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.
Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
