Explore the deliciousness of contemporary Mexican cuisine in this hands-on cooking class. The chef will teach you to make a skillet-queso that will leave you wanting to scrape up every last bit with tortilla chips! Then we move on to the entree–fish tacos with salsa verde and cilantro lime slaw. As a bonus, guests learn to prepare their own street corn. We finish on a sweet note with flan!
Poblano Skillet Queso — Poblano peppers have amazing flavor without too much heat. They make this skillet queso extra special! Served with tortilla chips.
SoCal Fish Tacos — seared white fish with salsa verde and cilantro lime slaw.

Chef’s Kitchen Tickets:
When a class has sold out of regular tickets, we add two tickets in the Chef’s Kitchen up front. The guests cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them. If other guests who purchased tickets for the class are not able to attend at the last minute, the Chef’s Kitchen guests will cook at one of our eight cooking stations, not at the Chef’s Kitchen. The Chef’s Kitchen tickets are offered at a discounted rate in recognition of the flexibility requested of these guests.
Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
