Jack O’Lantern Cake

Our pastry chef will guide you though making a fun, but spooky Jack O’Lantern cake. You’ll start by baking a moist pumpkin cake and then learn to carve it into a pumpkin shape. Next you’ll cover your cake with a crumb coat of delicious spiced buttercream frosting followed by a layer of orange fondant. The chef will guide you as you cut a Jack-O-Lantern face in your cake and use black fondant to add the scary details. This cake is sure to impress your family and friends! Complimentary wine will be served during class to adults.
Spiced Buttercream (House-made)
Children 12 years or younger with a Registered Adult: $40 (Max of 2 child tickets per registered adult, please). For pastry classes, adults registered with a child will make one recipe together. For non-pastry classes, adults and children will work together to make their meal.
Chef’s Kitchen Tickets:
When a class has sold out of regular tickets, we add two tickets in the Chef’s Kitchen up front. The guests cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them. If other guests who purchased tickets for the class are not able to attend at the last minute, the Chef’s Kitchen guests will cook at one of our eight cooking stations, not at the Chef’s Kitchen. The Chef’s Kitchen tickets are offered at a discounted rate in recognition of the flexibility requested of these guests.
Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
