Hanukkah Celebration Dinner

Come celebrate the Festival of Lights at JAX Cooking Studio. This Hanukkah meal will warm the soul and expand your cuisine in this hands-on cooking class. The chef will teach classics like matzo ball soup and latkes. Then we’ll finish on a sweet note with sufganiyot, a fancy donut! Complimentary wine will be served.
Menu:
Matzo Ball Soup- a classic hearty soup that could make chicken noodle shake in it’s boots. A hearty, fluffy dumpling in the center of warm broth with shredded chicken, carrots, celery, onion, and fresh dill
Latke with Herby Sour Cream and Homemade Vernor’s Applesauce- crispy pan-fried potato pancakes with the classic sour cream and applesauce, with a twist!
Honey Carrots – roasted carrots tossed in honey butter, the perfect sweet pairing with a hearty savory dish
House Made Brisket with Guest Made Onion Straws- slow braised and melt in your mouth tender, roasted for 8 hours in a top-secret blend of vegetables and spices
Sufganiyot- a classic Hanukkah dessert, a fluffy donut filled with apricot preserves, dusted with powdered sugar

Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.
