Le déjeuner, it’s French for Lunch
This class transports you to a Parisian bistro, where you’ll master the art of creating a classic French lunch. You’ll start with the iconic French onion soup, learning the secrets to its rich broth and perfectly melted cheese topping. Then, you’ll assemble a vibrant Salad Niçoise, balancing fresh flavors and textures. The Croque Monsieur, a French twist on grilled cheese, will be elevated with homemade Mornay sauce. Finally, you’ll finish with the elegant Rum Poached Pears, a delightful dessert that showcases the beauty of simple ingredients.
Menu:
- French onion soup- A classic French soup with caramelized onions in a rich broth
- Salad nicoise- A vibrant salad featuring tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, olives, anchovies, and tuna.
- Croque monsieur- A grilled ham and cheese sandwich with Mornay sauce.
- Mornay sauce- A béchamel sauce with cheese added
- Rum Poached Pears- Pears poached in a sweet rum syrup
Pricing & Gratuity:
$75 per ticket – all attendees require a ticket.
Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
Age Policies:
Children under 9 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Children 9-11 may register in groups of two or more.
Children 12+ may register alone and may be seated with another single ticket holder.
Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.
Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend the class for which you registered, please inform us as soon as possible. If you notify us at least 7 days before the class date, we will issue you a full refund of the class price less the cost of the credit card processing fees we encounter. If you notify us at least 5 days in advance, we will issue a credit for a future class. If you are not able to provide 5 days’ notice, we will attempt to rebook the class. If we are successful, we will provide you with a credit which you may use on future classes. If we are not able to rebook the class, we regret that no refund or store credit will be issued. By that time, we will have committed staff and resources and purchased food based on our confirmed bookings. We hope you will make someone very happy by gifting your cooking class!
If you purchase 6 or more tickets for a single class, we require a 30-day notice before the class date to cancel that reservation. In that instance, we will issue you a credit valid for one year. No credit card refunds will be offered.
