Learn basic cooking methods and techniques in our Adult Cooking Series. These classes are suitable for the beginner cook or those who simply want a refresher. You will learn knife skills; how to enhance flavors with marinades, brining, and dry rubs; how to make pasta dough from scratch; how to sear, sauté, stir-fry, and poach; and how to use sauces and condiments to elevate your dishes. We will be eating what we prepare, so come with a healthy appetite! Complimentary wine will be served.

February 4: Naan-Stop Indian Flavors
• Butter Chicken: Creamy, tomato-based curry with tender chicken, mildly spiced and rich in flavor.
• Chana Masala: Flavorful and hearty chickpea curry, with a delicious blend of spices.
• Dal Makhani: Rich and buttery lentil dish, slow-cooked for a creamy texture.
• Basmati Rice: Perfectly cooked, fluffy rice, the ideal accompaniment to Indian curries.
• Naan: Soft and fluffy Indian flatbread, cooked to perfection and perfect for scooping up all the delicious curries.

February 11: Filled Cupcake Fun
• Chocolate Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Filling: Moist chocolate cupcakes filled with a luscious homemade salted caramel and topped with chocolate buttercream. A classic combination with a gourmet touch!
• Lemon Cupcakes with Lemon Curd Filling: Fluffy lemon cupcakes bursting with a tangy-sweet homemade lemon curd, finished with a creamy lemon cream cheese frosting. A perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors.
• Pecan Pie Cupcakes with Brown Sugar-Bourbon Filling: Spiced cupcakes with crunchy pecans, filled with a rich brown sugar-bourbon sauce and topped with maple-pecan frosting. A sophisticated and decadent treat inspired by pecan pie.

February 18: The Art of Pasta Shaping
• Strawberry Zabaglione: A light and airy Italian dessert with the sweetness of strawberries and the richness of Marsala wine.
• House-made Pasta Dough: Discover the joy of making fresh pasta from scratch using simple ingredients and time-honored techniques.
• Chicken Piccata with Farfalle: Tender chicken in a bright lemon-caper sauce, perfectly complemented by bow-tie pasta.
• Orecchiette in Basil Pesto Sauce: Little ears of pasta coated in a vibrant, fragrant pesto.
• Chef Salad: A refreshing and colorful salad with a medley of fresh ingredients and a tangy vinaigrette.

February 25: Sweet & Savory Breads
• Nutella Banana Bread Pudding: Moist and flavorful banana bread pudding with a swirl of rich Nutella.
• Focaccia: A classic Italian flatbread infused with herbs and olive oil.
• Compound Butter: Add a gourmet touch to your breads and dishes.
• Monkey Bread: Irresistible pull-apart bread, with rum syrup, perfect for sharing.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend a cooking series for which you registered, please inform us as soon as possible. If you notify us at least 21 days before the first day of the series, we will issue you a refund for the amount you paid less the credit card processing fees we encountered. If you provide at least 7 days’ notice, we will attempt to rebook the series, and if we are successful, we will provide you with a credit valid for one year which you may use on future classes. If we are not able to rebook the series or if you provide less than 7 days’ notice, we regret that no refund or store credit will be issued. You are welcome to gift the series to another person, and provide us with the contact information for that person.
Gratuity: Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
