Come celebrate National Rum Day at JAX Cooking Studio! Discover the versatile and flavorful world of rum in this hands-on cooking class. We’ll explore the rich and complex flavors that rum can bring to both sweet and savory dishes. From appetizer to dessert we’ll utilize rum in every course and learn how to balance the sweetness and depth to create unforgettable rum dishes. Complimentary wine served during the cooking experience.

Menu:
Rum Glazed Shrimp with a Spiced Rum and Honey Sauce, Served with Pineapple Salsa
Rum and Brown Sugar Marinaded Steak – Pan seared steak with rum pan sauce
Boozy Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Rum, Bacon, Butter, and Cream
Drunken Brussels Sprouts with Dark Rum, Maple Syrup, and Balsamic
Golden Rum Cake with a Boozy Vanilla Glaze

Pricing:
$85 per person
Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.

Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
