It is hard not to fall in love with New Orleans after sampling the delicious food available at every turn in the French Quarter. We will explore the French and Spanish influences which gave NOLA its complex sauces and slow cooking. And we’ll see how the addition of Haitian creole cooking took the Crescent City’s cuisine to an even grander level. Complimentary wine served during the cooking experience.

Menu:
Commander’s Palace Crisp Romaine Salad with Hard Boiled Egg, Bacon, Croutons, and Creamy Black Pepper Dressing
Pan Seared Crab Cakes with Remoulade
Jambalaya with Rice – Chicken, sausage, and shrimp dish served over house made rice
Vanilla Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce

Pricing:
$80 per adult
Chef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen, and they dine at a special table set up for just them.

Gratuity:
Leaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
