SUMMARY:Hocus Pocus Feast for Families
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to brew up some bewitching dishes inspired by Hocus Pocus? Come grab your broomsticks and fly to JAX Cooking Studio for a chef guided dinner class that will have you cooking like a Sanderson Sister! We’ll be casting spells and cooking up dead man’s chungs (crab cakes!)\, I smell scrod (panko crusted cod) and more! Dress up\, if you’d like for additional fun! We’ll be dancing until we die! Ok\, actually until 8:30pm. Complimentary wine and witch’s brew will be served during this event. \nMenu:\nDead Man’s Chungs – Delicious crab cakes with house-made remoulade sauce\nI Smell Scrod – Panko crusted cod filet with a delicious lemon butter sauce\nBlack Flame Candill Potatoes – Dill and garlic smashed potatoes\nBlack Magic Brussels Sprouts – Roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon and maple syrup\nBrownie Boooooook! – Brownies decorated with royal icing with a creepy watchful eye \nPricing:\n$80: per adult and children 14 years or older\n$135: One adult with one child 13 years or younger.\n$190: One adult with two children 13 years or younger.\nChef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however\, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen\, and they dine at a special table set up for just them. \nAges:\nFamily Classes: Children of any age accompanied by an adult may attend Family cooking classes.\nChild-Only Classes: Children 7 or older may cook without an adult present in our “Kids” classes.\nAdult Classes: Children 16 or older may attend Adult classes with or without an adult. Children 14 or older may attend Adult classes if accompanied by someone 21 or older. \nCooking Station Assignments:\nTwo or three people who register together will cook the menu items with each other. Our goal is to have guests do as much as possible in the time allotted given the restrictions of appliances and cooktop space. If you purchase a single adult ticket\, you will be assigned to work at a station with another person who purchases a single ticket.\nEach person (adult and child) will receive enough ingredients to prepare a generous portion of every menu item or one cake per person for cake decorating classes. \nGratuity:\nLeaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.
