SUMMARY:Summer Cooking for Older Kids: Pop Japanese Favorites
DESCRIPTION:Learn to make some of Japan’s most loved foods in this action-packed class! Whether you are preparing your child to fly the nest and want him to learn to make inexpensive\, healthy meals\, or whether you just want to hang out with her in a fun interactive setting\, our Monday evening summer series is for you! Come hungry to enjoy the Japanese spread you make! \nAges: This series is appropriate for children 12 or older coming alone\, or adults coming with a child 10 or older. \nMenu:\nClear Soup – a classic Hibachi restaurant favorite\nTempura – Tempura fried shrimp and vegetables with house-made yum yum sauce\nYakitori – Grilled marinated chicken and scallion skewers\nCalifornia Sushi Roll – Krab\, Avocado\, and Cucumber served with soy sauce \nPricing:\n$65: per person\nChef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however\, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen\, and they dine at a special table set up for just them. \nCooking Station Assignments:\nTwo or three people who register together will cook the menu items with each other. Our goal is to have guests do as much as possible in the time allotted given the restrictions of appliances and cooktop space. If you purchase a single adult ticket\, you will be assigned to work at a station with another person who purchases a single ticket. \nEach person (adult and child) will receive enough ingredients to prepare a generous portion of every menu item or one cake per person for cake decorating classes. \nGratuity:\nLeaving a gratuity is not required but appreciated if you enjoyed your cooking experience.

Come hungry to enjoy the Caribbean feast you created! \nAges: This series is appropriate for children 12 or older coming alone\, or adults coming with a child 10 or older. \nMenu:\nBBQ Mango Meatballs\nFried Coconut Shrimp Tacos with Pineapple Slaw\nCaribbean Rice and Beans\nGuava Cupcakes with Guava Cream Cheese Frosting \nPricing:\n$65: per person\nChef’s Kitchen: Guests in the Chef’s Kitchen cook the same menu as the rest of the class; however\, they use the gas cooktop and convection ovens in the Chef’s Kitchen\, and they dine at a special table set up for just them. \nCooking Station Assignments:\nTwo or three people who register together will cook the menu items with each other.
