Mexican Day of the Dead Cooking

In Mexico and other parts of the world, families gather to celebrate and honor the lives of their loved ones and ancestors on the first and second days of November. In this class, we will enjoy the culinary diversity of the various regions of the country as we cook a variety of Mexican foods. Guests enjoy complimentary wine and wine-based margaritas during the evening.
Pan de Muertos: This traditional bread is enjoyed throughout Mexico for Dia de los Muertos. We will stuff ours with mole-seasoned beef
Tamales Carnitas: Tamales are filled with various meats and vegetables to be left on offerendas across Mexico. We will fill ours with delicious shredded pork shoulder
Mexican Hot Chocolate Lava Cake: Hot chocolate is commonly left on ofrendas everywhere. In Mexico. Cinnamon and chili pepper are often added to this universally loved drink. We draw inspiration from this traditional drink to make a chocolate lava cake with a decadent twist!
