Fermenting, Pickling, and Canning Make and Take

Have you always wanted to learn how to pickle and can? Now’s your chance! In the class, Chef Christi will discuss agriculture grown right in our own community and the benefits of using those resources, and we’ll review canning supplies, myths, methods, and step by step procedures. Then we will get to work making both fermented and canned pickles and a canned fruit jam. Each person will take home a container of each item you make!!! You’ll also receive recipes so you can continue the fun at home.
